Effective insulation is essential for HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems in order to preserve energy efficiency, minimise condensation, and reduce noise transmission. Reduced indoor comfort, moisture damage, and energy loss can result from poorly insulated ducts.

Technical Details:

  • EVA and EPDM closed-cell sheets are excellent for thermal insulation and acoustic damping.
  • Mass Loaded Vinyl (MLV): Used to insulate HVAC ducts in theatres, medical facilities, and high-end structures.
  • Composite Laminates: For increased durability and fire resistance, insulation is bonded with foil, cloth, or scrim.
  • Customisable based on duct size and performance requirements, the thickness range is 3 mm to 25 mm.
  • Low thermal conductivity (k-value) guarantees less heat gain or loss across duct surfaces.
  • Acoustic Performance: Using MLV composite insulation results in STC improvements of 5–10 dB.
  • Fire Resistance: Every product complies with FMVSS 302 and is in line with international fire safety standards for duct insulation.
  • Resistance to Moisture: The closed-cell structure inhibits the growth of microorganisms and condensation.
  • Pre-cut duct liners for quicker installation, rolls, or sheets are available as supply formats.
